Historically, we’ve run Youth all summer but after examining the effectiveness of Youth over the summer, we’ve decided that we are going to do something a little different next summer.
OneCon is a massive expense (nearly $6000) and we’ve found that the impact of the event is not proportionate to the cost and the students do not really enjoy the event as much as the things we do around the event. What if we took all of our fundraising we do for OneCon and send every kid to camp next summer?
Riverside Camp is our Wesleyan Camp just across the border in Blaine, Maine and I spoke there this past summer for High School Camp and was blown away at the spiritual formation that takes place there.
So, what does that mean for Youth next summer? Instead of going to OneCon (which costs students $90 for 1.5 days) we are going to go to camp next summer as a Youth group. The cost would be $200 a student for a six day Camp. How is it going to be so cheap? We are going to aim to fundraise the remaining $200 through the year. Of course, this is still expensive so scholarships will be available.
Middle School Camp will run July 19-24 and High School Camp will run from July 26-31. There will also be opportunities to volunteer!

Pizza Fundraiser

Want to help support our Youth and make the trips they go on more affordable but also need tasty homemade pizzas that freeze well?
Well look no further! We are selling homemade pizzas (100% from scratch!) to help us bring the cost of attending camp together next summer down to $200 for the week.
Orders will be taken from Wednesday, October 1 until Wednesday, October 15.
Pick Up October 22nd after 8pm (prefered, we are making them that night at youth and won’t need to store) or Thursday from 9am-11:30 and 1-7pm.
Pizzas are 12’’ and are $20 each come in Pepperoni (Pepperoni, Cheese), Garlic Finger (Cheese, garlic spread), Cheese (Cheese) and Works (onions, green pepper, hamburger, mushrooms, cheese)
Encounter Weekend HS Event
November 7-8 | 6:30-8:30pm | $80 | Kingswood University, Sussex, NB
Encounter is a dynamic high school youth event held every fall in November. Our goal at Kingswood is to help you prepare for what matters most, and this high-energy, impactful weekend is designed to do just that! It is filled with activities and events that will introduce you to the Kingswood community, engage you in worship through music and the Word, and challenge you to explore the call God has placed on your life.
