Youth Kick-Off – September 16

What a way to kick off the fall! Our survey said you loved a BBQ so we will have Burger’s and Dogs out back behind the church, plus dirty soda, and some fun games! This is open to all students grade 6-12 and it is completely free!
Love Atlantic Food Drive – September 23

Our church is partnering with other churches in the area to try and gather 10,000lbs of food for the Valley Food Bank. The adults collect it on Wednesday night and drop it to the church for the youth to sort and pack it for pick-up! It is always a fun activity!
Anchor Weekend Fall Retreat – September 25-27

After a 4 year break, Anchor Weekend is back! This weekend long spiritual retreat is a great way to start the year off, and this time we have an entire island on the Saint John River to ourselves! The price is only $125 – this covers food and all activities on the weekend, with students being responsible for Friday night’s supper. Register here.
Love Feast – October 28

What is a love feast? For us, it includes us cooking a meal together, then sharing it. Someone will share what God has been showing them or doing in their life, and then we will take part in communion (that part is optional, of course). We are trying to model what the Early Church and Early Methodists did!
Encounter Weekend (High School Only) – November 6-7

Encounter is a dynamic high school youth event held every fall in November. Our goal at Kingswood is to help you prepare for what matters most, and this high-energy, impactful weekend is designed to do just that! It is filled with activities and events that will introduce you to the Kingswood community, engage you in worship through music and the Word, and challenge you to explore the call God has placed on your life. Pricing to be announced, but around $80.
Fredericton Fun Day- January 2

Over Christmas break we’re going to do a day trip to Fredericton that includes a fun activity and spending time at the mall – It’s so far in advance that’s all we know and there’s not even a graphic! So mark your calendar and wait for more information later this fall.
Sermon Series this Fall

As a new school year kicks off, students are stepping into fresh schedules, heavy workloads, and constant social noise. The Back to School series focuses on a foundational truth: connection with God isn’t about rigid rules, but about building an intentional, dynamic relationship. Over five weeks, students will discover practical, everyday avenues to deepen their faith and draw near to Him.

None of us are immune to falling short, wandering off, or making mistakes. The God of Second Chances series explores how God responds when we fail or feel far from Him. Over a few weeks, we will look at real biblical accounts of restoration to discover that God’s mercy is bigger than our past, His grace meets us in our weakness, and He continually offers a fresh start.
Did you make it to the end? Reply to this email with “Red Sharpie Marker” and your student will get a free treat from the canteen during our kick-off!
